Filipino-Australian electronic pop artist Daine has been profiled for The Cover and has released an exclusive playlist, 'I Believe In You'. The playlist, curated for The Cover, includes tracks from artists such as M.I.A., The Femcels, Babymorocco, and Loukeman, alongside past NME Cover artists Sophia Stel and Chanel Beads.
Daine's debut album, 'In Endless Awe And Agony', is anticipated in November. This album follows five years after NME highlighted Daine in their NME 100 of 2021. The artist, now signed to indie label Pack. Records, has released singles including 'PQC', 'Love Love (Love Love)', and 'I Used To Kill' in anticipation of the full-length release.
Daine has described a shift towards a "more human" approach in their music and aesthetic, noting a reduction in vocal distortion and Auto-Tune. The artist was photographed by Dean Podmore and profiled by Alex Rigotti for The Cover.
