Aidan O’Brien’s unbeaten filly Diamond Necklace is the focus of attention on Day Three of Glorious Goodwood, competing in the Group One Nassau Stakes (3.35pm). The filly is aiming to extend her perfect career record to six wins from six starts and secure her fourth Group One title.

Diamond Necklace achieved three victories as a two-year-old, including her maiden at the Curragh, a Listed race at Leopardstown, and her first top-level success in the Group One Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp. This season, she has added two more Group One honours in France, winning the French 1000 Guineas and the French Oaks at Chantilly.

The Nassau Stakes marks her first race against older horses. She has more Group One successes than the rest of the field combined. Friendly Soul, trained by John and Thady Gosden, is the only other Group One winner in the race, having won the Prix de l’Opera last season.
