Double Murder Investigation Launched After Two Men Found Dead in Glasgow

Police Scotland has launched a double murder investigation after two men, Paul Lafferty and Gary Beaton, were found dead in a flat in Glasgow on Sunday.

A double murder investigation is underway following the deaths of two men whose bodies were discovered in a Glasgow flat on Sunday. Paul Lafferty, 50, and Gary Beaton, 54, were found in a property on Chancellor Street in Partick at approximately 16:40.

Police Scotland confirmed that post-mortem examinations, conducted on Monday and Tuesday, established the causes of death as murder. The force stated that the Chancellor Street property was the home of one of the victims, and the two men were known to each other.

Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage as part of the ongoing investigation. The last confirmed sighting of either man was on Friday morning. Detective Superintendent Cheryl Kelly has appealed for anyone with information, regardless of how minor it may seem, to contact the police.
