Two merchant ships have reportedly been struck by drones of unknown origin within Bulgaria's economic zone in the Black Sea. The incident has prompted an emergency response, with local media reporting that at least 18 individuals were evacuated from one of the vessels.

Concerns are growing regarding the crew of the other affected ship. The specialist site Maritime.bg provisionally identified both ships as operating under the flags of Togo and Palau.
