The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, have reportedly arrived back in the UK, landing at Birmingham airport. They are accompanied by their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
The family is expected to enjoy an “extended stay” in Britain. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are already enrolled in school in the UK and are due to begin classes next week.
The couple's return, six years after moving to California and stepping down as working royals, was reportedly revealed last week. There was no immediate confirmation of their arrival on Wednesday from representatives of the Sussexes.
It is understood that the family plans to retain their Montecito mansion and a property in Spain, and will live outside London at a non-royal residence. There are no plans for them to return to official royal duties.
