A Dutch family visiting Wolverhampton for their daughter's graduation had their van stolen on Sunday night, according to West Midlands Police. The white Ford Transit was taken from Bewdley Drive, containing possessions, money, and medication belonging to the parents of University of Wolverhampton graduate Elizabeth Ajose.
CCTV footage from a home on the street reportedly shows three hooded individuals approaching the van, which contained luggage. The thieves were seen backing the vehicle into a car before driving it away.
Femi and Hannah Ajose, the graduate's parents, stated they lost all their clothes, credit cards, and a substantial amount of money. They also reported that all their medication for serious health problems was in the vehicle, and they have not taken it since Sunday.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said they understood the upset and frustration caused by the theft and urged anyone with information to contact them.
