Plans for a significant phased mixed-use redevelopment surrounding Ebbsfleet United Football Club at Stonebridge Road, Northfleet, have moved forward with the release of a decision letter and Inspector's Report for a called-in application. The comprehensive project includes the demolition of existing structures and site preparation works.

The proposed development outlines the creation of residential units, various Class E uses such as retail, food/beverage establishments, local services, indoor sport facilities, healthcare space, creches, and office floorspace. A key component of the plan is a new multi-use stadium, designed to incorporate associated business and leisure facilities, alongside a hotel and community use floorspace.

Beyond the buildings, the redevelopment also encompasses the delivery of open space and a substantial realignment of the local road network. This includes changes to the A226 Galley Hill Road, Stonebridge Road, and Lower Road, along with hard and soft landscaping, car and cycle parking provisions, and other infrastructure works.
