The Rt Hon Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, Secretary of State at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Andrew Bowie MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Energy Security, and Sir Ed Davey MP, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, are scheduled to speak at Energy UK’s 2026 Annual Conference.
The conference, named Energy Matters, will be held on Wednesday, 14 October, at One Great George Street, Westminster. It will bring together political figures and industry leaders to discuss the transition from energy ambitions to practical delivery, as the UK faces significant decisions regarding energy affordability and security.
Dhara Vyas, Chief Executive of Energy UK, stated that the energy industry remains central to political debate and the economy. Vyas emphasised the urgent need to move from debate to delivery, focusing on supporting customers, strengthening energy security, unlocking investment, and driving growth.
Other confirmed speakers include Keith Anderson, CEO of ScottishPower; Fintan Slye, CEO of NESO; and Tim Jarvis, Interim CEO of Ofgem. Both in-person and online tickets are available for the event, with a discount offered to Energy UK members.
