Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Christian Norgaard from Arsenal. The Denmark international has penned a two-year contract with the Toffees, with the transfer reportedly costing £7m.
The 32-year-old was not included in Arsenal's squad for their friendly against Real Betis on Wednesday. Last season, Norgaard featured in 20 games for Arsenal across all competitions, though only seven of these were in the Premier League.
This summer, Everton have also brought in central midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough for £16.5m and winger Tyrique George from Chelsea for £18m. Manager David Moyes has been seeking experienced additions to his squad following the departures of Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye, and with James Garner set to miss the start of the season due to groin surgery.
