The second round of the DP World India Championship was suspended on Friday due to fading light, affecting numerous players including six-time major winner Rory McIlroy.
Joost Luiten, Angel Hidalgo, and Adrian Meronk completed their rounds to lead on eight under par. Belgium's Thomas Detry is also tied at the top, though his round was cut short after seven holes.
England's Eddie Pepperell and Todd Clements are one shot off the lead after finishing their 18 holes. Northern Ireland's Tom McKibbin, who started the round one shot off the lead, is now three back at five-under par after seven holes.
Rory McIlroy is tied for 17th on four-under par, with his challenge halted after four holes. He began his second round with an eagle and followed with three pars before play ended. England's Tommy Fleetwood and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre are also on four-under par after four holes.
This suspension follows earlier delays in the opening round on Thursday, which saw play halted for five hours due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.
