The children, visiting Penang for the first time, reportedly struggled with the heat, showing less interest in colonial architecture and street art than anticipated. Their grandfather recounted his childhood home, where 14 family members, including grandparents, uncles, and an aunt, once lived in a house smaller than the family's two hotel rooms.
