England's game-breaking winger Manny Feyi-Waboso is reportedly on track to feature in England's opening Nations Championship Test against Australia early next month. This comes despite the 23-year-old tweaking a hamstring while playing for Exeter against Newcastle on Sunday.

Initial scans have not revealed any major damage, and Rob Baxter, Exeter's director of rugby, is hopeful Feyi-Waboso will return to action soon. Baxter stated, "He's had a scan and there's nothing I'm hearing from our physios saying there should be a long-term issue."

While Feyi-Waboso will miss his club's Champions Cup pool fixture at Toulouse this weekend, early indications regarding his recovery are positive. Medical staff from both Exeter and England are reviewing the scan results.

Separately, former England captains Ellis Genge and Courtney Lawes have called for the restriction on England selecting overseas-based players to be lifted. They suggest that internationals with a certain number of caps should remain eligible for selection even if they play for clubs in France.
