A significant fire has broken out at a mixed-waste facility on an industrial estate in Neasden, north-west London, located just under a mile from Wembley Stadium. The blaze is causing disruption to Tube and train lines in the area.
Twenty fire engines and approximately 125 firefighters have been deployed to tackle the fire. Transport for London has confirmed that there is no service on the entire Metropolitan line, which runs near the incident. The Jubilee line is also affected, with no service between Wembley Park and West Hampstead, and severe delays reported on the rest of the line.
Additionally, rail services operating into London Marylebone are experiencing disruptions as a result of the fire. A nearby Amazon warehouse has been evacuated, though it is not connected to the industrial unit where the fire originated. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
