Firefighters are attempting to rescue 27 people from a rollercoaster at Pleasurewood Hills theme park in Lowestoft after the ride stalled.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the park at 13:36 BST. A spokesperson confirmed that the carriages of the Wipeout ride came to a stop on the track, approximately 15m (49ft) in the air, but not upside down.
Crews are using advanced rescue-at-height equipment to free those trapped. Pleasurewood Hills has been approached for comment.
The Wipeout rollercoaster, described as the park's flagship attraction, underwent a £1m transformation between 2024 and 2025. A man was previously rescued from the ride in 2017 after it broke down.
