  • Floqer's AI agents automate customer research for business-to-business sales and marketing teams, monitoring the web for updates.

Floqer, a startup offering an autonomous customer knowledge platform for business-to-business sales and marketing teams, intends to open-source the technology powering its database. The company is targeting an early 2027 release, contingent on security reviews.

The platform uses AI agents to continuously collect, organise, and update customer information. Floqer states that its system can enrich accounts using over 100 third-party data sources and monitors the web for changes such as job promotions or new company funding.

Floqer reports that its annual recurring revenue has exceeded $1.2 million, with overall revenue growing approximately tenfold in the last year. The company, founded in 2024, has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding and states it has more than 1,000 customers.

The decision to open-source the technology is partly driven by customer demand, with some companies wanting to host their own data or modify the platform. Security reviews are underway due to the sensitive customer information the database can contain.

Why this matters: Open-sourcing the technology could allow more companies to host and customise their customer data management systems, potentially addressing demand for greater control over sensitive information.
