Florence + The Machine, RAYE, and JADE are among the artists confirmed to perform at the 2026 Mercury Prize ceremony. The event is scheduled for October 22 at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle.
Ten artists from this year's 12-album shortlist are set to perform a song from their nominated records. These include Dove Ellis, Florence + The Machine, JADE, Knats, Kojey Radical, Nia Archives, Olivia Dean, RAYE, and Suede.
Pulp will also take to the stage to represent War Child Records’ ‘HELP(2)’ compilation. Additionally, short films celebrating nominated albums from Dave and Paul McCartney will be shown during the ceremony.
This marks the second consecutive year the Mercury Prize has been held in Newcastle. The overall winner will be chosen by a judging panel on the night, with BBC Music providing coverage.
