Fontaines D.C. launched their new album, 'Dopamine Chamber', at an intimate gig at London's Roundhouse on Thursday, October 15. The band performed tracks from the new album, which was released at midnight, alongside established fan favourites.
Net proceeds from the 3,300-capacity event were donated to the mental health charity CALM. The band has previously collaborated with the suicide prevention charity and released a special CD version of 'Dopamine Chamber' to raise money.
Towards the end of the performance, frontman Grian Chatten addressed the audience, stating, "It's been a very tough year for us." He appeared to be referring to the death of manager Trevor Dietz in June. The group then played 'Favourite', a single from their 2023 album 'Romance'.
A Fontaines D.C. special of Later… With Jools Holland, filmed at Alexandra Palace, is scheduled to air in November, with the intimate set available on iPlayer next week.
