National League side Forest Green Rovers will not immediately look for a new manager after Robbie Savage's departure. Owner Dale Vince indicated the club intends to "try something new" instead of making a new appointment.
Savage left at the start of October for a role with Peterborough in League One. Despite the club being near the bottom of the English fifth tier, Vince believes a new appointment is not necessary, with coaches Josh Bowen, Yan Klukowski, and Jonathan Gould currently overseeing the side.
Vince told BBC Radio Gloucestershire, "Nobody’s in the frame, nobody’s connected to the job, at the minute there’s no vacancy." He added, "At the moment, we’re going to try something new, we’re going to see how it goes, and we’ll see where it goes." The coaching trio was in charge for a 4-2 defeat to Hartlepool on Saturday, extending the team's winless run to five matches.
