Former X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington has denied murdering social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska by allegedly running her over with a car in central London. Carrington, 29, appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Bronzefield prison to deny the charge.
The charge was changed to murder after Zakrzewska died from her injuries six days after the incident on April 19. Carrington also denied a second charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche, who reportedly suffered “life-changing injuries.”
The court heard that Carrington allegedly struck Zakrzewska outside Argyll Street’s Inca nightclub at around 4:00am. It is also alleged that the vehicle went on to strike Chyche and Latisha Armstrong, who reportedly suffered a fractured bone in the wrist area.
Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC confirmed the trial will take place at the same court from January 5, 2027. Pre-trial hearings are scheduled for August 11 and October 9 this year.
