Gardening and Baking Prove Challenging for One Aspiring 'Tradwife'

One individual's attempt to engage in 'tradwife-adjacent' hobbies like gardening and baking has reportedly met with difficulties, including a dying sourdough starter and a challenging tomato plant.

  • An individual cultivated a tomato plant in Philadelphia, describing it as potentially the 'world’s most expensive tomato' due to the investment of time and resources.
  • A sourdough starter acquired at a community workshop reportedly died after being neglected.
  • The individual received an official violation warning from a community garden's Plot Monitoring Committee due to neglected duties and weeds.

An individual's foray into 'tradwife-adjacent' hobbies, including gardening and baking, has reportedly encountered significant challenges. The individual, who acquired a plot at a local community garden earlier this year, described cultivating a tomato plant in Philadelphia, noting the substantial emotional and financial investment.

The gardening efforts also led to an official violation warning from the garden's Plot Monitoring Committee after duties were neglected during a heatwave, resulting in weeds taking over the plot. The individual stated that two such warnings lead to expulsion from the garden.

In addition to gardening, an attempt at baking with a sourdough starter, acquired from a community workshop, was also unsuccessful. The starter reportedly died after being fed religiously for a couple of weeks before being forgotten.
