Gary Neville's football media platform, The Overlap, is set to increase the frequency of its talk shows to daily. The new programme, titled The Overlap Daily, will launch this Friday and broadcast every weekday thereafter.
The show's line-up will feature former players Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, and Jamie Redknapp, alongside Match of the Day presenter Kelly Cates. Gary Neville will not be a regular host on the daily YouTube show after its initial episode.
According to an announcement, this expansion is part of The Overlap's broader ambition to establish itself as the leading non-live football media platform globally. The Overlap Daily will launch with three sponsors already secured: Sky Bet, Huel, and Arne.
Neville stated that the decision to create a daily show was prompted by a moment in the past year when a manager was sacked and The Overlap did not have a programme for seven days. He added that the quality and profile of the host line-up reflect a commitment to deliver insights and debate on major football stories daily.
