A swimming club on the beach in Gaza is providing a rare chance for children affected by three years of war to find freedom. The conflict has reportedly destroyed almost every playground in the region, according to reports.
Amjed Tantesh, who once aimed to train swimmers for Palestine’s Olympic team, established the club. He is now offering free lessons to children, including an orphaned girl named Hala and her brother Amir, in a pool reportedly built from rubble.
