Elsewhere at the Games, England secured two silver medals with Emily Newnham and Jake Minshull in the women's and men's 400m hurdles. Adaejah Hodge of the British Virgin Islands won the women's 200m title, and Sri Lanka's Rumesh Pathirage took gold in the men's javelin.
