Getafe have submitted a formal offer to sign former Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho. The 26-year-old winger became a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired in the summer.
An agreement for Sancho is reportedly complicated, but the Spanish side, currently 14th in La Liga and competing in the Europa Conference League, are keen to reach a resolution. Sancho, who cost United £73m in 2021, is said to favour a move away from England but is considering all options.
Sancho spent the last season on loan at Aston Villa, making 39 appearances. He also had loan spells with Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea during his five years at United.
