Actress Gillian Anderson, 58, has spoken about being arrested as a teenager after attempting to glue shut the locks of her high school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Speaking on Conan O’Brien’s podcast, released on Monday, Anderson stated she had been "doing a little crystal meth" at the time of the incident.
Anderson, known for her roles in *The X-Files* and *Sex Education*, explained that she was caught during her "punk" phase due to her footwear. She reportedly stepped on a nail while being chased by a security guard, which slowed her down.
She added that the effects of the drug gave her the confidence to persuade police officers to charge her with trespassing rather than breaking and entering.
