Thousands of people were left disappointed on Sunday after general admission tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 sold out in 42 minutes. Coach package tickets, released on Thursday, sold out in under half an hour.
Organisers confirmed last month that tickets for the 2027 event, taking place from 23-27 June at Worthy Farm in Somerset, are priced at £408, including a £5 booking fee. This represents an increase of £29.50 from the 2025 festival.
For those who missed out, organisers stated there will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2027. The exact date for this resale is yet to be confirmed.
Tickets are sold exclusively by See Tickets and are strictly non-transferable. Organisers have warned against purchasing tickets from third parties, advising that such tickets will be cancelled and admission refused. They also cautioned against scams, noting that people lose significant sums of money on fake tickets annually.
Volunteering is another way to attend the festival. Charities and organisations like Oxfam, Festaff, and My Cause UK require volunteers to work shifts in exchange for a pass. Aspiring volunteers are advised to contact the festival if unsure about the legitimacy of any recruiting company.
Co-organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that Oasis and Madonna will not be headlining the 2027 festival, despite rumours. She did reveal that three headliners are already lined up, with the team reportedly "very excited about" them.
