TV personality Graeme Hall, known as the dog trainer on Channel 5's Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, will compete in Strictly Come Dancing seven years after a heart condition forced him to stop dancing.

  • Graeme Hall suffered a stroke in 2019, leading to the discovery of a hole in his heart.
  • He underwent an operation to fix the hole and is now fully recovered.
  • Hall previously competed in local and regional dance events as a hobby before his stroke.

Graeme Hall, the 59-year-old dog trainer from Channel 5’s Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, is set to compete on Strictly Come Dancing. This marks his return to the dancefloor seven years after a heart condition halted his dancing hobby.

In 2019, Hall experienced a stroke, which led doctors to discover a hole in his heart. He subsequently underwent an operation to correct the condition, which he initially feared would end his dancing days.

Hall had previously developed a passion for dancing, participating in local competitions like Strictly Northampton in 2012 and continuing with regional events until his stroke. Now fully recovered, he is preparing for his comeback on the television show.

The pre-recorded launch episode of Strictly Come Dancing is scheduled for Saturday, 19 September, where celebrities will be paired with their professional partners. Hall will join other contestants including Lacey Turner, Delta Goodrem, Dani Dyer, Jaime Winstone, and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
