Graffiti artist Helch, known for his towering tags across the UK, has died this week at the age of 34. His work, which included a giant 'HELCH' or a simple upper-case 'H', marked railway bridges, motorway overpasses, derelict buildings, and high rises.
Helch's tags were visible from Bristol to London. One notable instance was a 60ft high white tag on a railway viaduct on the way to Windsor Castle, which reportedly upset Queen Elizabeth II.
His gallery, BSMT Space, stated in an Instagram post that "an urban landscape without an H in it seems unfathomable," noting his work defined the look of late 2010s Britain.
