Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar is making his return at this week's Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The 21-year-old Frenchman has recovered from a wrist injury, which forced him to miss the past three races.
Hadjar's injury, sustained while boxing, led to New Zealand's Liam Lawson stepping in for races in the Netherlands, Monza, and Madrid. Red Bull confirmed Hadjar has made a "full recovery" and will replace Lawson for the Grand Prix in Baku, scheduled from 24-26 September.
Lawson, 24, achieved a seventh-place finish in Zandvoort and sixth in Madrid, though he did not score points at Monza, finishing 14th. Following Hadjar's return, Lawson will move back to Red Bull's junior team, Racing Bulls.
Hadjar, who is eighth in the drivers' standings with 71 points this season, will race alongside four-time world champion Max Verstappen.
