Hayley Williams launched her latest solo tour, 'The Hayley Williams Show', last night (September 3) in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Paramore frontwoman performed at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheater, showcasing a variety of songs from her three solo albums.
The concert featured eight live debuts, including 'Just a Lover' from her 2021 album 'FLOWERS for VASES / descansos'. The majority of the setlist was dedicated to tracks from her most recent LP, 'Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party', released last year. The encore included 'Mirtazapine', 'Brotherly Hate', and 'Parachute'.
Williams also performed a cover of Nina Simone’s 'Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood' and incorporated a snippet of Portishead’s 'Wandering Star' during her performance of 'Simmer'. Before the final song, she addressed the crowd, stating: “Be safe, take care of yourself, look out for each other and fuck Donald Trump!”
