This contrasts with southern and eastern England, where temperatures could soar even higher, although widespread heatwaves are still unlikely nationwide. Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland will experience milder conditions, with sunshine, cloud, and occasional showers.
For the North West, expect mixed weather next week: brighter spells, some cloud cover, and isolated showers mid-week. Wind speeds will remain light to moderate - around 5-15 mph.
