England back rower Henry Pollock has stated he is “open to every opportunity” as he continues contract talks with Northampton Saints. His current deal with the Gallagher Premiership club is set to expire at the end of this season.

While talks are reportedly progressing well, and there is confidence at Saints that he will re-sign, the 21-year-old has not yet agreed terms. Pollock indicated he hopes to play abroad and potentially explore another sport in the future.

Eddie Hearn, who manages Pollock's commercial deals, previously described him as a £1m player. Pollock is expected to be in line for a deal worth around £450,000 a year.

Northampton's director of rugby, Phil Dowson, expressed hope that Pollock's deal will be completed soon, noting the complexity of the negotiations. The Saints are scheduled to begin their Premiership campaign against the Newcastle Red Bulls next Friday.
