World number two Luke Humphries has powered into the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix, securing a 3-0 victory over Niels Zonneveld. Despite not hitting his top form, Humphries was clinical in key moments, maintaining his record of not dropping a set in this year's tournament.
Humphries, who won the tournament in 2023, will now face compatriot James Wade in the last four. Wade earned his spot by knocking out third seed Gian van Veen with a 3-0 win.
Elsewhere, Nathan Aspinall delivered a stellar performance at Leicester's Mattioli Arena, also securing a 3-0 victory against Ryan Joyce. Aspinall is set to play Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals, after Price's superb 3-2 comeback success against Jonny Clayton.
