A celebration of filmmaker David Lynch and his acclaimed TV series 'Twin Peaks' is scheduled to return to London next month. The immersive event, titled 'A Gathering of the Angels', will be held at Genesis Cinema from September 26-27.
The weekend will offer various experiences, including screenings of 'Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me' and 'Blue Velvet', with the latter featuring an immersive element. Attendees can also expect a live owl demonstration with a falconer, and coffee and doughnuts will be served.
Several cast members from 'Twin Peaks' are slated to appear, including Harry Goaz (Deputy Andy), Ian Buchanan (Dick Tremayne), and George Griffith (Ray Monroe from 'Twin Peaks: The Return'). Sabrina Sutherland, who executive produced the show, will also be in attendance. Additionally, an online panel will feature regular Lynch collaborators, editor Duwayne Dunham and special effects artist Gary D’Amico, alongside live cabaret performances and a set from DJ Yoda.
The event was founded last year following the death of David Lynch in January at the age of 78. It is organised by Think Positive Events UK, who previously ran The Twin Peaks UK Festival.
