The track is the latest preview from her upcoming fourth studio album, 'Old Flames', which is scheduled for release on November 6 through Vertigo Records. Jackson has indicated that the album processes past behaviours and serves as a farewell to those ways of acting in love, life, and music.
'Lose Myself' follows previous singles 'Babyline' and 'Cabin Fever'. The album 'Old Flames' is the follow-up to 2020's 'Supervision' and explores themes including the end of a 17-year relationship, forbidden love, and loneliness associated with addiction.
