A six-year-old boy, Harrison Jones, died after being hit by a van while playing on his bike, an inquest has heard. Harrison fell into the road outside his home in Llanfairfechan at about 17:30 BST on 1 October.

Denbighshire Coroner's Court heard that he was struck by a passing Ford Transit tipper van. A post-mortem examination determined that Harrison died from severe head injuries.

John Gittins, senior coroner for north Wales east and central, stated that further investigation into the death is required and has adjourned the inquest.

A fundraising page has been launched to support Harrison's family with funeral and memorial costs, as well as household bills. On the page, Harrison was described as a "cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room".
