Italian champions Inter Milan are reportedly closing in on a deal worth 35m euros (£30m) for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones. This comes after Liverpool rejected a verbal offer of 25m euros (£21.7m) from Inter in June.
Sources in Italy suggest a verbal agreement is in place, though both clubs indicate further details require discussion. Liverpool are open to selling the 25-year-old, who has one year left on his contract, and value him at about £35m.
Jones, who joined Liverpool's academy at nine, is understood to be seeking a new challenge. He made 228 appearances for Liverpool since his 2019 debut and played 49 times last season, though only 18 of those were Premier League starts.
