Apple has launched its new iPhone 18 Pro Max, which boasts a substantial battery upgrade, allowing for almost three days of light usage between charges. This represents an increase of approximately four hours compared to its predecessor and nearly a day longer than the iPhone 18 Pro.
The device integrates new Siri AI capabilities, designed to improve understanding and task execution. This includes a dedicated app for reviewing past conversations and the ability for Siri to interpret on-screen content or camera views. It can also suggest data from Apple apps.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR screen and is powered by the Apple A20 Pro chip. Its camera system includes three 48MP rear cameras and an 18MP front-facing camera, with the main camera offering a variable aperture for enhanced low-light performance and creative photography. The phone is available from £1,299.
Weighing 249g, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is noted as being heavy and potentially difficult for one-handed use. It runs on iOS 27, which also speeds up app launches and refines Apple's AI tools across compatible iPhones.
