Callum Scott Howells, known for his role in It's A Sin, takes on a challenging part in the new thriller The Night They Vanished. The series, set and filmed in Wales, also features Welsh actress Gabrielle Creevy.
Scott Howells plays Cai, a character he describes as "charming, complicated and never quite what he seems," who runs a true-crime website. Creevy portrays Anna, whose childhood home is listed on the website as the site of her family's future deaths, despite police dismissing it as a hoax.
The six-part mystery is an adaptation of Vanessa Savage's novel. Tamzin Outhwaite and Steffan Rhodri also star. Produced by CliffEdge Entertainment in association with Channel 4, and backed by Creative Wales, the series is scheduled to air on Channel 4 later this year.
