Jack Draper will miss the rest of the 2026 season as he continues to recover from an arm injury, the 24-year-old has said.
Draper posted on social media that he is aiming to return to the tour at the start of 2027. He said: "I am taking this time to reset and heal so when I return I am 100 per cent ready to go."
The British player has been troubled by bruising on the bone, which he said has wrecked much of his last 12 months. He recently pulled out of the US Open, meaning he did not play in a grand slam this year.
Draper was ranked in the world's top five last summer but is now down at 143. His arm problems forced him out after Wimbledon last year for seven months, aside from a US Open appearance where he pulled out ahead of the second round.
He then appeared to be back on track, only for a knee problem to surface in the spring and force him out of the French Open. He made another return at Eastbourne ahead of Wimbledon, but more pain in his arm prompted him to miss his home grand slam.
