Jay-Z Kicks Off London 30th Anniversary Shows with Surprise Guests

Jay-Z launched the UK leg of his 'JAŸ-Z 30' world tour yesterday, September 4, headlining Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of his debut album, 'Reasonable Doubt'.

The London show, his first headline solo performance in the UK in over a decade, featured several special guests. Idris Elba opened the event, performing the intro track from Jay-Z's 2007 album, 'American Gangster'.

Later in the evening, DJ Khaled, Giggs, Lauryn Hill, and Wyclef Jean joined Jay-Z on stage. Giggs performed 'Talkin Da Hardest', while Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean, as Fugees, delivered hits including 'Ready or Not', 'Killing Me Softly With His Song', and 'Fu-Gee-La'.

Towards the end of the concert, Jay-Z acknowledged Beyoncé's 45th birthday, which coincided with the show. He asked the audience to sing 'Happy Birthday' to his wife, who was watching from a private box.
