Comedian and actor Kathy Griffin has stated that Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters, “acted like he didn’t know me” during an airport encounter. This alleged incident took place after a 2017 scandal where Griffin faced criticism for a protest video.
The video, which caused controversy, depicted Griffin with a fake severed head resembling then-US President Donald Trump. Following the video, Griffin apologised and reportedly lost hosting jobs and endorsements.
Speaking on her podcast, 'Talk Your Head Off', Griffin described seeing Grohl at JFK Airport. She claimed that her “former friend” ignored her, even when they were seated two seats apart on the same plane. Grohl has not yet publicly commented on Griffin's account.
