Singers Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza are currently on health-related hiatus. Their bandmates worked to fill the gaps, engaging the crowd with bass-heavy pop anthems and dance breaks. Yoonchae Jeong, the band's youngest member, asked the crowd if they were happy to see them, while Megan Skiendiel and Lara Raj commented on the audience's volume.
The London concert was the second date of the band's Wildworld tour. Katseye was formed in 2023 as part of the online reality competition show The Debut: Dream Academy, created by Hybe and Geffen. They had a breakout year in 2025 with singles like 'Gnarly' and 'Gabriella'.
Manon Bannerman announced her hiatus in February to focus on her health and wellbeing, following earlier reports of racism and death threats against the band and suggestions of an intense schedule. Sophia Laforteza announced her hiatus in April to protect her mental health and wellness. Sophia's mother stated that the absence is temporary and for her daughter's benefit.
During the London show, Katseye honoured Sophia's place by retaining her pre-recorded vocals on some songs, while Manon's lyrics were sung by other members. Following the tour's opening night in Dublin, the band faced accusations of miming, but their microphones appeared live in London, with a backing track supporting vocals.
