Keith Brymer Jones, the potter, ceramic designer, and TV judge, is set to publish his new book, 'Firing Earth: An Unexpected History of Pots and Potters', on October 22. Brymer Jones is widely recognised for his role as a judge on 'The Great Pottery Throw Down', which began in 2015.
Born in London in 1965, Brymer Jones started his career as an apprentice at Harefield Pottery. He later founded his own company, producing pots and homewares for various retailers, including Conran, Habitat, and Laura Ashley, before developing his distinctive Word range.
His journey to television involved an unconventional path, stemming from a parody video of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' that went viral. This video led to him being approached to become a judge on 'The Great Pottery Throw Down'.
