Kelsey Parker, the widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, has welcomed a baby, named River. The announcement was made on Sunday via a post on her Instagram account, which featured a photo of a newborn's arm next to a pink sign with the name River.
The caption accompanying the photo read: "Welcome to the world, River. Our little bit of hope." This news follows Parker's announcement last June of the "earth-shattering news" of a stillbirth, when she and her partner Will Lindsay lost their baby Phoenix.
Parker, a podcaster and author, had two children, Aurelia Rose and Bodhi, with Tom Parker before his death in 2022 at the age of 33 from terminal brain cancer. Celebrities including Rochelle Humes, Susanna Reid, and Holly Hagan-Blyth have offered congratulations on social media.
