King Charles and Queen Camilla joined spectators at the annual Braemar Gathering in Royal Deeside. The event, held on the first Saturday of September, coincides with the monarch's summer holiday at Balmoral.
Among the events observed by the King and Queen were tug-of-war, caber tossing, hammer throwing, Highland dancing, and a parade of pipe bands. This is the third time King Charles has attended the Games since his coronation.
The King wore a kilt made from the King Charles III tartan, which he first unveiled on Burns Night last year. Queen Camilla also wore tartan, paired with an emerald green jacket and feathered hat previously worn to a service at Crathie Kirk last year.
