Los Angeles powerpop project Jawdropped will release their debut album, 'Secret to Spare', on September 18. The US quartet, which formed in 2024, is composed of musicians in their 30s who have previously been involved in LA's DIY music scenes.
The band's chemistry was first noted on their 2025 'Just Fantasy' EP, which featured co-vocalists Kyra Morling and Roman Zangari. 'Secret to Spare' is described as a collection of stories focusing on themes of resilience and low-stakes creativity.
The album includes tracks such as "The Line," "Monday," and the single "Split Lip."
