Sandi Kaur, a lawyer by profession, also performs as a dhol drummer with the Birmingham-based group Eternal Taal. The group claims to be the UK's first and only team of bhangra dhol players and dancers.
Ms Kaur, from Wolverhampton, joined Eternal Taal in 2019. She has performed at major events such as Glastonbury, the Commonwealth Games, and the late Queen Elizabeth II's Jubilee, where she played near Prince William in Westminster Abbey.
Parv Kaur founded Eternal Taal in 1999, aiming to promote bhangra music and showcase female talent globally. Her father, Balbir Singh Khanpur, co-founded the Bhujhangy Group in 1967 and continues to perform.
