Kim Le Court has clinched the overall title in the Tour of Britain Women, concluding in Royal Leamington Spa. This landmark victory for the Mauritian rider comes despite Lorena Wiebes securing her fourth stage win of the 2026 edition, and her 11th career stage win in the British race, with a powerful sprint.
Le Court's triumph was largely attributed to her solo stage victory on Friday, which took place at the Great Orme, overlooking Llandudno. This marks the most significant stage race victory of her career, following a stage win and ninth-place overall finish in the Tour de France Femmes.
Wiebes's latest stage win, her 137th career victory, came after a challenging race. A three-rider breakaway, featuring Sara Martín, Alice Towers, and Eva van Agt, established a lead of nearly two-and-a-half minutes. However, their advantage was eroded in the final 20km, with the peloton reeling them in just a kilometre from the finish, allowing Wiebes to sprint to success.
