Leeds Extend Unbeaten Run with Goalless Draw Against Crystal Palace

Leeds United maintained their unbeaten start to the Premier League season after a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at Elland Road.

  • Leeds extended their unbeaten start to the season.
  • Crystal Palace had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside.
  • Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed Leeds' best chance in the second half.

Leeds United extended their unbeaten start to the Premier League season, securing a point from a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Elland Road. Despite climbing to third in the table last week, Leeds were held by a much-improved Palace side.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin had Leeds' best opportunity in the second half, firing straight at Palace goalkeeper Walter Benitez. Crystal Palace, however, will feel unlucky not to have taken all three points after creating several chances, including a goal from Tyrick Mitchell that was ruled out by VAR for offside.

Palace, who had conceded 11 goals this season, displayed a strong defensive performance and posed problems on the counter-attack, with Adam Wharton central to their play. Leeds struggled to break down an organised Palace defence, failing to carve out another clear chance in the closing stages.
